Privacy Policy

Effective and last updated: October 1, 2026

This policy explains how CJJ Media, LLC uses information when you visit CoachJayJohnson.com, join Coach Jay Johnson’s email list, or use our training systems and courses. Contact us at info@coachjayjohnson.com with privacy questions or requests.

Information you choose to share

When you join an email list or request a free resource, we collect the name, email address, and audience preferences you enter in the form. We use them to deliver the resource and send the training tips, updates, and offers you requested. Our email signup forms are provided by Kit. You can unsubscribe using the link in any marketing email.

When you contact us, we receive your message and the contact details you provide. When you purchase a product or create a course account, the checkout, account, and payment providers collect the information needed to complete your purchase and provide access. Kajabi hosts our training systems, courses, and member login. Some book purchases take place through Amazon or PFB Publishing’s Shopify store. Their own privacy policies also apply when you use those services.

Website hosting and necessary information

Cloudflare hosts the public website and some public downloads and video content. Hosting and security providers process technical information such as IP addresses, browser information, and requests to serve pages and protect the service. This information is separate from optional Google Analytics on the public website.

Your browser may store preferences that make the site work, including your analytics choice, book-reader settings, and Film Room viewing allowance. These preferences are stored on your device. Clearing your browser’s storage may reset them. Course accounts and checkout sessions use their providers’ necessary cookies to keep you signed in and complete transactions.

Optional analytics on the public website

Google Analytics helps us understand which pages and coaching resources people use. On the Cloudflare-hosted public website, we load Google Analytics only after you choose “Allow analytics.” You can choose “Keep analytics off” and still read articles, watch the available videos, and use the public resources.

We save your analytics choice in your browser for up to 180 days. Use “Cookie preferences” in the footer to change it. Turning analytics off disables subsequent Google Analytics collection through our site code and removes the Google Analytics cookies our code can access. It does not erase information previously collected by Google.

Our analytics setup removes query parameters from the page and referring URLs it sends and disables Google Signals and advertising-personalization signals. We do not send the name or email address from signup fields to Google Analytics. Google processes analytics information under its Privacy Policy.

The public website’s cookie choice does not control cookies on separate Kajabi, Kit, Amazon, Shopify, or other provider pages. Those services may use their own analytics, security, and account cookies. Embedded signup forms and video players can contact their providers when they load or when you use them. Their privacy policies and available controls apply.

How we use and share information

We use information to deliver requested resources, send subscribed emails, provide purchases and account access, answer questions, maintain the website, understand its use, and prevent abuse. We share information with the service providers involved in those tasks, and when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect our rights and the safety of the service.

Providers involved in the current website include Cloudflare, Kit, Kajabi, and Google. Video resources may use Cloudflare Stream, YouTube, or another identified player provider. When you follow an external link or make a purchase on another site, that site controls the information you provide to it.

Retention, security, and your choices

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the services you requested, maintain purchase and account records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Different providers have their own retention practices. We use reasonable safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails, change the public website’s analytics choice, or contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information. We may need to verify your identity before handling a request. Some records must be retained for legal, security, or transaction purposes. Rights available to you depend on your location and applicable law.

Browsers’ “Do Not Track” settings do not replace the site’s analytics choice. You can keep optional analytics off using the banner or footer controls.

Young visitors

Our public training articles and resources can be read without joining an email list. Our email signup forms are intended for people age 18 or older. We do not offer a parental-consent signup process on this public website. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can investigate and address it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the website or our services change. We will post the updated policy with its effective date and provide additional notice when required by applicable law.
